Minimum Order Quantities
Minimum Order Quantities are product based rules that require customers to purchase a minimum quantity of product in order to place an order. This typically occurs in two scenarios:
- The product has a low margin, so the customer needs to buy a significant amount of that particular product to make it worthwhile to deliver it.
- The customer is far away from the distributor. On products with lower margins, the customer needs to buy more product to make it worthwhile for the distributor to travel to the customer’s location.
