Hold codes may restrict order entries or deliveries for a customer, typically for financial reasons. For example, a hold code could be created for customers who are Past Due. There are three main types of hold codes: warnings, no sells, and load-to-load.
- Warnings - No flags need to be checked and the customer may continue to place orders.
- No-sell - The customer will no longer be allowed to place orders.
- Load-to-load - The customer will be able to place orders, but the orders will not be able to be delivered unless the AR balance is paid in full.
